INSURANCE
SENIOR FOOTBALL INSURANCE

The Club maintains an insurance policy under the umbrella of the RDFNL and AFL. For our senior division, this policy is at the PLATINUM level.

What is covered?

  • This is an Accident and Injury policy - a 'top up' type policy and does not replace the need for individual Health Cover and Ambulance Cover.

  • Loss of Income cover is also offered to our senior division players, which is up to 80% of player's net income up to a maximum of $400.00 per week. ($250.00 for Under 18s). For players not covered by an employer's sick leave entitlements, the club recommends that all players consider income protection for their own general benefit.

Important information:

  • Policy does not cover any Medicare gap expenses

  • By law, an excess period of 2 weeks applies to payment of income (ie: no payment of income by insurer).

Process for claims:

  • Players should report their injury immediately to their Coach, Team Manager or other Club Official.

  • Claims under this policy are completed by the injured player and can be accessed from the link below.

  • Insurers will then liaise with players/families directly for reimbursements and any additional information.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL INSURANCE

The Club maintains an insurance policy under the umbrella of the RDFNL and AFL . For our junior division, this policy is at the BRONZE level.

 

What is covered?

  • This is an Accident and Injury policy - a 'top up' type policy and does not replace the need for individual Health Cover and Ambulance Cover.

  • There is no Loss of Income insurance for the junior policy.

Process for claims:

  • Players should report their injury immediately to their Coach, Team Manager or other Club Official.

  • Claims under this policy are completed by the injured player (parent) and can be accessed from the link below.

  • Insurers will then liaise with players/families directly for reimbursements and any additional information.

Through their registration with Netball Vic, all netball players are covered by insurance offered by Willis Insurance.

What is covered?

  • This is an Accident and Injury policy - a 'top up' type policy and does not replace the need for individual Health Cover and Ambulance Cover.

  • Loss of Income cover is also offered to our senior division players, up to certain limits. For players not covered by an employer's sick leave entitlements, the club recommends that all players consider income protection for their own general benefit.
