AGM delivers good news

Off field success in 2018 will help spur the Rupertswood Football Netball Club on to a tilt for Senior success in 2019, after reports were tabled at Wednesday nights RFNC Annual General Meeting. President Brad Pietromonaco outlined the Clubs 2018 success, with the Under 19.5 Footballers, the Clubs FIDA team, the B Grade Netball, C Grade Netball and Under 19's Netball all winning Premierships. A focus on prudent financial management was shown to have returned good results. Treasurer Neville Smith outlined in his report a 2018 profit of $30 015, building on the profit of $29 416 seen in 2017. This has been a great turn around in financial terms (see graph below).

Retiring Vice President (Junior), Matt Hedger, thanked all people that had helped him in his tenure in his role, from Head of Coaching, Kevin Quinn, to the hard working members of the Junior Sub-Committee. Matt made special mention of his wife, Rachelle, who took on the role of Registrar this year, as well as allowing Matt time for his Rupo duties. Brad Pietromonaco as President and Lauren Swallow, Lisa Edwards and Steve Coughlan in Committee roles were re-elected, and we welcome Paul Spencer as Vice President (Junior). We are looking forward to strong results on and off the field in 2019.
